Hardison Family Papers

The Hardisons were farmers from Martin County, North Carolina. Clayton Hardison (b. ca. 1835) served as a private in Co. H, 61st North Carolina Infantry. Two of his brothers, William J. Hardison and Hodges Hardison, served in Co. E, 17th NC Infantry. Besides a single letter written by Clayton Hardison, this small collection includes two letters written by Eli H. Brewer, a private in Co. F, 31st NC Infantry.
