John E. Jamison (1841-1921) was from Fayette Township, Juniata County, Pennsylvania. He served in Co. D, 36th Pennsylvania Militia Infantry, a short-term emergency regiment formed in response to Lee’s invasion of Maryland and Pennsylvania in June 1863.
