Erastus Pollitt Letter, SC2840
Erastus Pollitt was born in Ohio then moved to Shelbyville, Shelby County, Indiana around 1846 and enlisted in the Union Army on 10 October 1863 and served as a private in the 1st Regiment, Indiana Heavy Artillery. In 1880, he was residing in Sannondale, Montgomery County, Indiana.
