Lorraine W. Griffin Letters

Lorraine (also spelled Loraine and Lorin) W. Griffin was from Rutherford County, North Carolina and served as a private (later sergeant) in Co. D. 16th NC Infantry. His brother, James M. Griffin, also served in Co. D and apparently died of disease. Another brother, George Griffin, served in Co. I, 56th NC Inf. and was killed about May 1864.
