as I have received mor nuse
Our Boat gordian has returned
& brout with her from livepool

Rifles she hasent landed in
Charleston yet but she has
got to Savanah She landed
their last knight & she wil
be hear in a few Days
father i am right her from the
hospital my bissiness was
to take James [????]n
their he has got the Measels
he taken them last knight
father I saw the dreadfuls
Site their i ever saw in my
life [?] had one hundred
five sent their with the Measels
I tell you it was A dreadul site

in the aire this plase is certaine to
be attacked now in a few Days
Colonel Martial got home last
knight from Verginna he tell
us that he saw president
Davis & Davis says their is
fifty thousand yankes bound
for this plase & also Davis
says he has yet plenty of Men

plase form their I must close
though i could write A week

thirty Men this Morning tha is
forty caces of Measels in our company
