Dear Linda
We are orderd to cook all the
Rashions we have on hand and to Be
Ready to march as soon as we possibly
can Where we will go I cannot tell
But Down Between here and pensacola
We guess Even our offisers do not Know
Dear Linda I have waited patiently
for a letter from you for several
Days and Recd none you Recollect
coutioning me not to forget to write to
you often thank God I have Keept
you properly informed this Leaves me
Me well all to a Bad cold and god
grant that these lines may find you
and Children all well and all our
Family I cant tell when I shall write
agan But wile as soon as posible wait
and Direct your Letters as hereto fore
Do the Best you can Buy Corn said
Do as you think Best
