lines to you hoping thay
will finde you all well
as thay leave us all at
present I receved your
kinde letter dated the 4
and was glad to hear
from you I receved your
letter dated the 6 it came
to late as Mr
gregg was hear before
the letters got hear
we ware just gowing
to role Call at none

coming down the walk
it made mee look to
see him hear we all
had a happey shake
of the hand fore we
are glad to see a frend
at aney time nearley
the first worde he spoke
was you neede not wonder
boyes what brought mee

at mee being hear it made
mee feele bad to thinke
what was wrong as he
did not tell us what
was the reasone he come
he gave us to under

strange in his letter
