My Dear Wife
I now take an
opportunity of addressing you afew lines to
inform you as I am well at present
and I am inhopes as those few lines
will find you all enjoying the same
great blessing that is good health.
I want to see you all very much
in deed, I recieved your affectionate
letter dated June 8th and I am glad to hear
that you all are getting on very well
and I am inhopes as you all will
continue so. you Mary you
said something in your letter about
sinding me some sugar and viner
gar I should be very glad to get
the vinergar. you nednot
send the Sugar. as I have got
that here, Mary please examine
my Razor and see as the rust
dont eat it. I have not bought
any salt yet, but ther

will be 2.500 bushels Sold in
Wilmington on the 17th of June to
the hyest bider. I shall attend
that sale if I can. Writ soon and
if my Dog is much truble to you,
Give my love and respect to Par and
family and tell them as I am as
well and heartty as I ever was,
give my love to Prissilla Temperance
samuell and all the rest of the chrilde
and to all inquring friends, and
esspecally to my Dear little
Chrildren and recieve a larger potion
for your self. I remain your
