Camp Lamb Wilmington NC June 13
My Dear wife I
now take an opportunity of addressing
you a few lines to in form you as
I am well and I am inhopes as
those few lines will find you
all enjoying good health. we have
recieved orders to go to Richmound
we will leave Wilming ton to
night Mary I recieved the balanc
of my bounity yesterday fifty dollars
I am anious to send that to you
but I dont see any chance to do
so now but if I can see any chan
ce to send you that fifty dollars
I shall do so. I send you twenty
five dollars by cousin James
Odum. but I am sure as you
got that. I will bring my letter
to a close as the boys are
runing over the flour
up ther things.
