Captain Bearry I Seet my Self to let
you know that we are yet in the land of the
liveing tho I am not well but better I
can go about and work and all the rest is well
and I hope these few lines will find you well
we have heard that your Soldeers ware
verry Sick Som of them and John W. Williams
was verry Sick and I hope you will have him
nurst well and take care of him and what
little he has and it Will oblige yours
friends with reverence and respect and as
Soon as you and his phisioner thinks he can
come home I want you to Send him as Son
as youcan and I want you to reed this to

Son we here hard that you ware Sick
and rember the Same god is there as their
was hear and put your trust in god to take
Care of you and we are doing very well
and we hope to See you well once more
when we can talk face to face and
Come as Soon as you can for we all
would be glad to See you John be a good
Boy for evry body is inquiring after
you and we recived your likeness and all
