Dear Wife
I take the presant as favorable
time to inform you that we will leave here
for Richmon the first chance of Transpertition
We are certain to leave this time I think I
Wish you had of stayed longer when you was
here for we cannot get any more furlows to come
home We are all fixing up our things to leave here
a monday next I would be glad to come home if
I could I should like to know what for time you
had getting home and if you got home safe
it would be useless for you to wright to
me here if we leave a monday as it is thought
we will I will bring my fiew lines to a close Our going
off is all the news and all the talk so no more
at presant Do the best you can yours &c J. C. Zimmerman
