Dear Wife
This morning I take
my pen in hand to let you know
I am well and doing tolerable
well, I want you to send me
some clothes (coat Pants Shoes socks
a change of underclothing and some
Tobacco) G.L. Beck wish his folkes
to know that he is well and
would be glad if They would send
him a pair of socks Tobacco and
Povision if it can come through
you and Mr Becks can fix up
a box Together for me and George
as we are together. send a half box Tobacco
for us mark the box plain to us

well so no more at presant but
