Dear Sister
I imbrace the oppotinity
in anseer to you kind leter which came to
hand the 20 of this month I was glad to
hear form you and to hear that you was well
and your children was well I haden the chance
to rite Sooner for the Brigade Left the 21 of this
month for NC. and the Lieut Garrell was acton
quatermaster and he was left back to take cear
fo the transpotation and I was looking for him
and he ask me if I wanted to go with the
Brigade I Told him I woden march for mi
leg was Two soer if I cwod Stay I wod rather
and then he sed I cwod Stay with him if
I want Stay then we moved near Gordins Vill Va
on the 23 of Jan Some mile and a half of
Gordins Vill and we poot up winters quarters
we have first trate winters quaters know
but I dont know how long we will Stay
her if the Transpotation ant carred to NC.
we will stay her some time but if it is
Taken to NC. we wont Say long her I herd
This morning the Brigade was at weldon NC
day before yesday I Shod like to be with Them
