Govner Vance you most
Excellency Dear sir this is
to no of you whether this
would be our chance for
me to get my Two sons dis
charged or furlowed home
or not that is Harrison &
Paton Gibson that formuly
belonged to your Regement
they are Both sick and has
been for along time not able
for service and I am ferful
they never will again if you
please instruct me how to
Get them home if I had them
at home I cold nurse them
up and maby save ther lives
or Recrute them up so they wold
be able for servise again my
Boys has been in the war over

fifteen Months and have
don all they cold in defince
of there contry if you please
to assist me in tryin to get them
home for I am apoore widow
woman Dependant on my boys
for surport I have don all
I cold for the ware I have in both
Clothing and pervision, and I
would vary Glad if I cold
get to see my son for ashort tim
I want you to answer this
letter if you please and
if ther is any chance you
will no it in so doinge
you will oblige your humble
