the oath of Wm W Buchanan
he Swars he never sined his
name to no roll nor was never
musterd in to Service But when
was Sworn was just Sworn with
a squad and was in no line and
was Sitting down and then was
releesed by giving way and not
running for office all the rest of them
in a few days after all the rest
was called upon to organnize the
company after organizeing they was
then called uppon to enroll ther
names which they did under the
oath then in a short time after was
notified to be mustered in to
Service for Which Wm W Buchanan
never was notified to be mustered
in to Service nor to sine his
name under no oath nor to no
muster toll which he never did
sworn to [??][??] us this day

Same proof as my own oath
or Cap Bowman [2] if there
Evidence is kneeded I
Will try and get there Evedenc
Gov Vance is not that I
Want to Sheark out of the Servis
for I am Willing to go in
to the Servis of my Country
