know somthing of my age and the time
that I in listed I inlisted for
12 month on the 28 of July 1861 an has
serv twel december the 31 1862 I left
my Ridgment at fredicks Burg va
and the Resen why I left them
was that I was past 40 yers old
and my offersers did not try to
git my discharg and I left them
on that grouns Ser when you mak
A Call for men that is Between
the age of 40 an 50 yers old

at the first Call But I dont want
to hav to serv under generl Ramsur
ples Governor Vanc wright soon
and let me know what to do
for I am know at A loss my
age is 45 yers old
