Dear Sir I now
write you a few lines to ask
of you if you can make any
arraingments for me and John
S. Fullam to get a transfur to
the 56th Regment of N.C.V. I will
also Say that we have Bin heare at
this Place in sirvice for the last
14 months and we are veary
ancious to get to our on State
and to get in the Same Regment
as we have Each one of us a
Brother in that Regment as we
ware Bouth Raised in Henderson
county N.C. and oure famalys is
Residing in that county John S.
Fullam is a Son of L Fullam
Esq and wants to get Back to our
State a gain we Beg of you to help

so as we will go at any of youre
calls and has Don So
we Beg of you to write Back
to us as Soon as Posible and let
us Know if you can Do any thing
for us or not,, I will now give
you the name of our Regment it is
the first Regment of infantry S.C.

and our captin is B.S.Berneth
