I have Ben called apon this evning in
the B halth [1] of the Wimming on the south West
side of Johnston Co tha air a fairing ver Bad

see if you Wood not doo Someth for them about somthen
to eat for tha air a sufring very Bad at times tha
cante git nothing for the Money unless tha goe from
8 to 10 mils and Walk and tote it I think Mr
Govner that tha had orte to Be something dun for
them Govner I Will give you my idey
What orte to Be done in every destrick tha
had orte to Be someone apinted in evry
destrick to go and gitit for the Wimmen
I have doon all that I can do for nothing
I am Willing to doo all that I can Govner
the Committy doos not abledg them only pay
them the Money and then tha have to go and finde
it if tha cant finde it around home tha have to
doo athout unless some one gose after it for them
