I have been a friend to you
I wish a little advise . as I was
forty six years old last June
can they take me as a conscript
when the Sencises [1] was taken I
did not know my age and it
was put down yonger and now
they claim me an that. I have
had my age proven, but they
rather seem to claim me yet
Sir I wish you to write to
me as soon as you get this
and let me know what to do
