I a Gane take my pen to in form you of the affars her we ar all able to Be up and at tend to Bisness though we all have Bad Coles it is from the Change of wether for we have had the warmest and dry est fall I ever have Sene in fact it has Bin the dryest yer I have ever Sene and it will Be harde times her for the next yer for Corn is worth now $125 cents peer Bushell now.
I am a Giting a long talerable well I wante to finish Githering of Corn next weeke and it is late But I Cant helpe it for my waggons war Brooke and I Got them dowun up as quick as I Could Git a man to worke I have a Bout 95 Bales of Cotten out and have Gind and packe 72 Bales and tha way 38652 and I think I shall make a Bout as much as I dide last yer and had it not of Bin for the storm and the Bole worme I would of maide 50 Bales mor But I Cant helpe that for I no I dun my harte and I wante to try to Git the most of my Cotten out By the first of december and then I Can have Good time to worke at my fenceing and manure I have a fine [?] of it and wa t to litter my lots next week a Gane though it has Bin a Bade yer to make manure But I will make all I Can I will dow all I Can to im prove the lan and the Best I Can for you this is all I Can thinke of a Bout the farm my pees has turn out sorry though I Shall Save Seede or have and I wante to put my fatning hogs in my pee field next week and I Shall put up no more than will doow for us it has Bin a Bade yer for hogs But my hogs looks verry well my meet hogs ar in fine order the most of them my Cowes looks the worst of eny of my stock
I write to you to let me no whar you wish me to Sow Oats So as I Could So Sum the last of this month But I have Got no letter from you and a Bout the negros Clothing I have a Bout 90 yards of Cloth her and I am still a Spining and weving and let me no if I have to Git the negros Shoes or not and what ever you want me to dow let me no it and I will dow the Best I Can for you

[2] thar is one thing I wish you would dow for me that is to let me have 12 or 15 a cors of land ner to the hous and [??] plow it for me and I will have the time maide up as I Shall have one hande to worke it and two of my little Boys as I wish to have them at worke at Sump[??] thing you may Be a x fraide of mixing up But you nede not Be in eny drede a Bout that for I will dow what is Rite So I wish you to let me no what you will dow in your next letter and I wish you to Rite So I must Close as it is a Giting late and it is Cole this leves my Self and family well and hope it may [?] Rech you in the Same in Joyement So I Re mane your frend for you [?]
