Sir I hav happin to a very bad misfortune this morning my bed and puty much all I had inn the room I sleep inn has got burnt up this morning if it had not bin for frank it would hav binn much worse all on the plantation would hav burnd up he happin to be at the lot gait and save the house my wife and Miss Griffha was inn the citchen cleaning and when they saw it it was inn a light blais my wife think it was set a firer she says tha she put out all of the firer and sent the children our to Janes hous whenc frank went inn to the hous he says that the bed that I siep on was a burning next to the window nothing els was a firer but that bed I sleep on this the 27 of march 1856
