afternoon to wrighte you afew lines
in Ancer to your Kind letter whitch
came to Hand this morning I was Mor than
glad to hear from you all I was veary sory
to hear that you was not well those few
lines leaves me and the reste of the famley
quite well at presetnte and I hope this May
soon reach you and find you and the rest
of the famley all well and hearty granmother
has bin veary sick but she has got up a
gane I am a going thar to Knight and I will
carry your letter for her to read I got
a letter from brother James to day he
is at Peters burge va he rote that he was
well and it was veary harde times out thar
