Deare sone I Receveed yours yesterday Evening
and ware glad to heare you ware all well and I
ho hope hope you may Remane so we are all well excepet
my selfe I ware taken with A chill last saturday
and then fever and has bin in bed every since prety
mutch John and Calvin you wrighten to me
concerning hiring Jack and Andrew from me
this yeare and land to tend if you have made the
proper understanding with Joel you can have them
and the land by sending your notes for one hundrid and
fifty Dollars each boy, excuse this short letter as I am

hardley able to set up i would wright
more if I did not feel so feble theare is nothing
new onley John hooker is maried and i expect
it will go very hard with some of the girls
to part with him yours as ever
