it is with plesure that I Seat my self this
eavning to drop you a few lines to in form
you that I am well at this time hopin when
these few lines comes to hand thay may
find you all well and doing well I hav nothing
of im partens to reite to you at this time
we had apirty lively chrismas yesterday
Shootin and runing foot races ther was five
men drawn from each comp to shoot to hun
dred and fifty yeards for aprise a par of Shoos
was the prise we hav nothing to do this weak
tel mondy morning our chrismas is over it
is thout ther will be no fitin hear Jenerl
Walker Ses he thinks the last fite is fit

But I had rather se it than to hear it you mus

helth in our comp so far I wod like to
hear from home I hav not heard from
