first days of June hoping that nothing will
prevent tho you no that I cant be surtin

I injoyed my trip finaley I wish you was
hear to go down ther with me it is worth going to see
tha have a large number of Guns down ther
and a large quanity of Soldiers it is a well
fortifide plase as I ever Sean a most every
man that belongs to the battres has got his
wife there tha Soldiers has gardins like
if at home and hous to live in and a
citchen tha have a fine church and a
very nise berring ground tha ar mos ley
Alabama troops that is there it is 10
miles from hear it is a very nise ride
down there on the steam bote It dont
cost anything on the goverment bote
to go down and back the bluff is on
the banks of James river Margret I Started
you 30 dolars the 17 of April I have not heard
from it I have Sum money I could Sind
but I will wait and bring it whin I cum
if I dont Get to cum home the first of next
month I will Sind it to you Margret rite
