the Same blessings Margret this is the
19 dayes that wee have bin a Soldering
tha has bin a heap of hard fighting hear
and it is Still going on I cant tell [whin?]
wee wil Get back to town Margret
I had the pleasure of Seeing the 3 batt
the other day I Staid all day with them
tha are gon over on the South Side tha
was all well tell Mrs Cooper that Dave
was well hee got the Skin nocked
off of the ball of his forer finger
J N Culbertson was well H Y furler was
Complaning with his Jos tha was [1]
but 18 of them Margret I have 400
Dolars to Sind to you the first chance
for the prospect is very bad for mee to
Get home as tha is so mutch fighting
