My Dear wife and child
thru kind providens I am Spaird with helth
and strenth hoping theas fiew linds will
find you all the Same this letter leaves
me waitting anctiously for a letter from
you I am very uneasy a bout home
as you are not well it gives me a heap
of troble I want you to let me hear from
you and little Son as Soon as posable
as I am So anctious to hear Margret I
have not Sold the Cloth yet nor I cant find
out the prise of Such goods becaus tha haint
bin non Soled this fall I tuck it aroun to
A. Rubins he is the Seller of our battlion or
has bin hee has got a drye good store hear
I tuck it down and told him to Sell it for as mutch
as he could and hee will doo So for hee is a
clever and a nise man Margret tell little Son I
have got his Shoes don tha are Surtinly nise I
maid them on the Same last the gaters was

a pair of vamps Margret captin Putney wants

galons for him hee is very anctious for the Surop
So if you think you can Spair as mutch as five
galons Sind me word and I will trye to cum

I dream of home so mutch I am very uneasy
for fear you or little Son or boath is very Sick
I want you to rite if your able as Soon as you Get
this letter and give me the Itimes of your
opinion about your complained and how
your doing at the present I will be oneasy
untill I hear from you So sis rite Soon
and fail not Margret I started 30 dolars to
you in a letter dated the 11 of Sept I would
like to hear whether you got it or not I will close for
this time So I Remain as ever your true and loving husband
