My dear and affectionit Companion
I seat my self this morning to
Drop you afew lins to inform
you that I am well at present
hoping those few lins may Come
to hand & hand & find you all
well and Doing well I have
Nothing of much intrust to rite
to you at present I waunt to
see you all verry Bad & I hope
that the time will soon Come

though I Dont hear No talk of
of the war Closing the Boys
of our Neighborhood is all well
at present and Doing well
I sent you By Daniel Coggin
fifty Dollars and I waunt you
to Do the Best you Can and
I will Send you more
