this leaves me in good helth truly truly
hoping this may come [safe?] to hand & find you &
your fathers family [?????] [we?] are yet in
line of Battle lying Behind our Brst
works Thom & Will is Both at the hospittal
Tomey was Sliytly wounded & Will was Safe
will was not Bad off a tall he was able
to go a Bout [but?] not able for doty
& the Doctors sent him off where he
would be out of Danger Tomy was
Wounded one morning Before he
got up [???????????] the [le?]tter you sent to
tom [yester?]day I would send it to him But
I dont no where he is your Cousin Wash
Peackok is hear at the Regt he is well
he com in a day or to a go I will send
