I once more threw the murses of that
all wise god seat my self to drop you
a few lines to let you now that I am
well at this time I hope these few
lines will find you in Joying the sam
potion of god blessing faney i reseaved
your cind an affectionet letter whitch
I was glad to reseaved from you it give
me mutch satesfaction to her from
you an to her that you an budy was
well o you dont now how glad I was
to her from you that you was well
my dear companion i hant got any
newse to write at presant Faney
I wrote one leter to fayette to you
an back it to S P Jones [??] for
that you want thar i herd that
your Pap was sick sow I loud that
you wooddent go off whill he
was sick I was sary to her that
he was sick for i now that he
is nie ded thar to tenn to the binness

three monts tho it tant pade out
to us yet the Capt has got it it
tis in huntred dollars bills the
captten is agoing to get it changed
for us tha is 48 dollars to each
privet iwill send it home the
first chance i can get i will sned
and in velop an thirty cts stamps
to pay postedg with i will send
this leter with out paying for it
i think that tha will go beter
than tha will to pay for thim
you pay for this leter plese
wright often as you can my love
i will quit for this time by
