dear fother and mother brother and Sisters i seet mi
Sef don to rit you a fu lines to let you no that
i am well at this time and mi dear brother has
de parted from this world and gone to abeter world
i hop mother i wos rite with him all the time
but a fu dase when he first tuck the masle i tuk
sick first and in a fu dase he wos fetch to the hospitle
where i wos me and S & r J amrson stad with
him all the time nite and day and a bout a
weak be for he dide he Sed the good lord had for
giv him of his Sin and he wonted to be bab tise
and the minist of the gospel com and babtise hime
and hit S[a?]fid him and he Sed we must meat him in
haven and tha wod not let me fetch him back tha [??]
it wos to hot and a nother thing tha wont furlow nomore
i went wif them to bary him and he wos put
by the side of buck Poe he wos in a bag grav yard and
his name put on the head beard and dated and all fix
