Dear Brother an sister it is threw the mercys of god
that i am blest with the opportunity of
droping you a fu lines to let you no
that I am well at this time hoping when
those lines comes to hand tha may find
you all well i hav nothing of interest
to rit to you only that I am very tierd
of Camps i want to bee at home as bad
as you ever saw any body tho i dont
know when i will get the chanc
to come home tho i hop i will get to
come home an see you all a gane i
will say to you the health of the
people hear is very goo[d] thare has
knot bin only won death hear
sinc i came hear i will say to
you thare was a care lod of coton
landed hear last knight at the
dee poe tho did knot see it tha
brot it from Selma i dont know
what it is for unless it was to
