Ransom T. Chambers (b. ca. 1834) was a Houston County, Georgia farm laborer. He enlisted on March 4, 1862 as a private in the “Henderson Rangers,” Co. H, 45th Georgia Infantry. He survived the war, and at the time of the Federal Census of 1870 Chambers was living in Houston County with his wife, Martha (b. ca. 1839) and their children.
