I seat my
self to answer your letter which
I received this week I was glad
to hear form you and that you
you have not forgotten your old
Friend I have been intending
to call and se you some of
these fine nights but thare
is so many placeses to go
too that I cannot get a chance
I promised to go down and
se Mittie but have not
got a chance yet Sunday
and Sunday eve there is

a meeting to go to and then
the circle comen Tuesday or
Friday, Wednsday the aid –
society meets and we must
go to that, then Thursday
eve ther is a meeting so you
se my evenings are pretty
well taken up and then
I dont like to loose any
time we change round on
our work one day at the Mill
the next in the woods and
the next in the shop makeing
Brick machines them to finish
out go to Portland with a
load of hay and take out
a load of dressing I have
been in to day should
have liked to have called
on you but did not have
time Libby has our hay on
Smith St I donot think

it is a great ways from where
you live I was over to Sand
City last night had a good
time Mand was right on
her trane I made out to
keep her in the Sleigh and
keep that right side up
Lizzie was down there
spending the day and we
carried her home I guess
she didnot have any of Tims
potatoes under her apron
there was a spelling School
up to Hicks school House
and Gus and Charlie went
I guess they had a pretty good
time for they had not got
home when I came away
and you can imagine when
that was. come out and
se me some of these days
or nights I rather guess

you will find me at
home Monday nights
and Saturday I will call
on you the first chance
I get give my respects
to Min I am in
and se if she can get
me on paper the first
chance I get well I
cannot think of anything
more to write so take
care of your self and
enjoy yourself as well as
you can
