thot that I would let you no
that I am well and hope these
few lines will find you the
same things are as lively as can
be there is moste 3 thousand men
ower rigerment lacks one company
the Waldo company and the one
her is most full I herd the

ld be mustered in the last of the
weak ower clothing parte of it is
on the ground now and the rest
of it for ower regt is made and wil
be here the firs of the weak
I shall be up home as soon
as we are mustered into the U.S.

meating on the ground today
they wont let a man go of[f] the
ground now if they can healp
it some of the boys gets
water pases to go and then they
go downtown in a hurry but
they dont hurry back I tell
you they wate til the gard
is changed and in they
come then a larfing how
they cheated the gardes
I hanute been downtown sins
last Wednesday I feal as conte
nted as can be we donte have

came down here and joinde

he came here teusday he is in
the next camp but one to owers

here first rate he looks the

camp life agreas with him I ges
by his looks I hav ganed 6 lbs
since I came here so that you
can see that it agreas with me
to be a soldger if I keep on
I shal be so fat that I cant
go on with out having the
men help me to lift my
grate fat legs after me
I cant think of eny thing
more to rite now so good
