    Meshach P. Larry (b. ca. 1833) was a blacksmith from Windham, Cumberland County, Maine. He mustered into service as a private in Co. H, 17th Maine Infantry on August 18, 1862 and was killed in action at the Battle of the Wilderness on May 6, 1864. Most of his letters were written to his sister, Phebe.
