we arrived in Boston
safe and sound mr

and Joseph Gifford
have gone to Lynnfield
they are going in our
Company. we are going
to morrow on Friday
to Washington. Jake
went to Lynnfield with
them to report to the
Docter. he is no worse
only his head aches. the
day we leave I will let
you know how he
is look for another

letter to morrow night
on the next. that letter
that i wrote for mother
is right. look out for
our Regament (19th)
and the day after we
leave Boston for
Washington send it.
put the date of the
month on it the day you
send it you can draw
six dollars ($ 6.00) a
week for Jake and me
once a week. you will
get a certificate that
will tell you what to
do and who to draw
it from. perhaps I [may?] [1]
not have a chance to
