My dear Parents
I received a letter
from you a few
days ago which
came in dew season
just as i got Back from the
march my helth isent
quite as good as usal i have
got a bad cold sleeping on
the ground though i am
getting over it slowly how
is your health and all
the others i hope well &
i suppose before this time
yow have hurd the perticulars
about ower experdition for
i have hurd so out here

now i wrote all the knews
bfore so i shant have much
to wright this time & now
you wanted to know if i
had bin paid of agian
i was today and expect
to again in two or three
weeks i shall send home
twenty dollars this payday
and i want you wright as
soon as you get it i got
pay for two months now

to all wright soon
