Deare wife we had a very good
home coming heare to day i had
Broild Liver for diner i sent by
bricknell express a box of Letters
for Lester and a horse for Alty [1] i want
Lester to learne them if you did not
git them you must Sind for them
all paid for wee hav got Larg bell
Tents i wnat to no how you are
giting a long i hav bought a neck
tie black cost one $1.00 and a roll
wee had presented to us havolocks [2]
Cotton neddles theared Buttons and
Testament but i did not take onley
the havolock and tesament
Aug 19 wee are all well this morning
wee Slept verry well larst night
we expect to go Thursday we expect
to gi our uniforms to day i hop
