in haste I scrible a
few lines to you this morning
as we have been packing up
hook and line ready to start
this morning at 5 oclock,, You
no dout will [??] where we
are going,, But that is always
a mistry to soldiers there is
all kinds of [rumirs?] where
we are [bound?] for but none
of us knows we probley will
go to,, Richmond,, probley
to [???]field where [??]
[???????????] Cavalry [took?]
the Maryland home guards
Prisoners, But every one has
an opinion of his own in
refference to this I received
your letters last evening

one dated June 17th and the
other June 28th also one from
Tom and Maria Perhaps I done
Wrong in writing as I did to
you and Tom but it made me
most dam mad to hear how
you had been treated,, I hope
you will not stay there but do
as you please and I will put
up with it,, I feel as if I did
not care a dam what become
of me when I think of home
(if I must [???]) I got
a letter from J.R. Fell the
other day but it made
me grit my teeth when I
read it all though there was
nothing in it to make me mad
onley to think that he would
dare to write to me he will
get a line from me the

be this side of Hell.. If not it
makes no difference my opinion
of him will be the same,, I was
in a passion when I wrote
so about not getting letters

of the Fowler boys I will

hunger very well we have
to go hungry very often But
