Champaign County Ohio febuary the 9th

Dear Joseph it is with pleasure I embrace
this opertunity of sending you afiew
to let you know how we are
I have had the meseles I am well of them
Emma had them She is about well
the baby broke out with them last
knight but is not very bad
I received yours of January the 31st
and was glad to hear from you
I have not got the minatures yet but as
soon as the children is able to go to
to town I will get them and send Them
to you. Write as often as you can
I am glad to hear from you if it was
every day Emma is so cross that I
have no chance to write I will write
more next time
I expect to go to John Protsmans
next Sunday to stay a week
Keep in good spirets and get home if
you can. I want to see you very bad
No more at present but remains
you affectionate friend till death
