Dear father I sit down to Wright you a
few lines to let you Know that I am
in prity good helth or good as Could
be expect and I hope these few lines
When they Cum to hand Will find
you all injoying good helth pap I
got your letter of the 5 last evning
and Was very glad to here from
you and to here that you ar all
injoying such good helth I am
very thankful to you for the
money you sent me for it caim
in very good pley you spoke
of Dick Haul [1] a being sick
in the Hospital here in Baltamore
I do not Know Whair dick is
for When We caim here from
Harpers Fery it Was 12 oClock
at night

got to go out in the City
to day but I Could not get
a pas I Will go out romorrow
and if dick is to be found
in the City I Will find him
and do the best I Can for him
I am very mutch suprised
to here that Dick is so bad
for he Was about as Well as
Common When We got her I think

Diseas is the head pluracy for
he had a spell of it When
We Was at the Fery he Was very
mutch trubeld With a pain
in the head I have not herd
one Word from Dick since We
Caim here but you may rest ashhurd
that I Will see after him soon
