Dear Respectable Wife i have Sat down this Nice
Morning with my pen in hand as to Answer your Verry
kind And love harted Letter Wich i duly Received on
the Last Wich was last Evning And to day is the first
And i was Verry Glad to hear from you Again And i
Was Glad to hear that you Are Well that is Just What
helps me in Corage to hear that you Are Well And i
Am Glad to hear that Noah is better And to hear
that he is At home And i Am Verry Glad Also to
hear that Mother is Well i hope that the lord May Spare
us to Come home Sune And i hope to meet youens All
Well Further i Will inform you By these few lines
that i am in Verry Good Health Ande i hope it may
be the lords will that these few lines may find you
in the Same state of Good health And i will Also in
form you that yesterday Whe was mustred in Again for pay
And Aaron he will Git his pay All Except only for the
time that he Was At home that he will not Git but for
or from the day that he reported him Self in Harrisburg till
Now he Will Git his pay But that he must looce for
the time that he was laying At home And till the
20 or the last of this month Whe will Git our pay Again
Further i Will let you know About Sending things to me

with out it for you are not in health or not fit for to do

to hard And do not take Good Care of your self So Aaron
he rote Aletter home to his wife this last Week And i rote
A half of A Sheet to her And i rote to katy that She
Shall Come down As Sune As She Can And help
youns i mean you And mother to help you to do the washing
And to help you to make Guarden And that She Shall
Stay there And take Care of you until Whe Come home
And i will pay her from the day that She Comes to you
For i did not trust to leaf you And mother Alone And
to Work so hard And i Wish you to Go And Bie Some
Good check for Shirts you may Bie nine yards of check [1]
And make three shirts with Bosoms in But do not
Bie Any of that hickery [2] stuf for it is to worm And
try to make them So they Are done until [3] i Come home
or if you dont make them now After Wile you Cant make
them So i wish you to make them now And i suppose
it is dear But Just Git it for i must have them if i live
to Come home And rite to me if you Will do
it for me the time is Sune over then Whe Can Come
home Again Further i Am Glad that you Got that
last paper those things that Was in they Are for to
fire our Canons off With them Whe shoot still take
Good Care of them till i Come home And i Will
Send you that paper home Every Week i will Send
you one i Still start them off on Wednesday then you
Can Git them on Saturday And i Wish you to tell
me of Every paper What you Git Sos i know if you Git
them All still Further i Will let you know that i
Got A letter from William Dunkil day before
yesterday and yesterday i Got one from daviss Straws
And one from you At one time And i Am Glad
to See my old Boses rite to me and to see that they
do think so much of me yet And Wish me [C??]ll
he sends me good Words to still he wishes me home
