Came at hand last Eavning I Was verry
glad to hear that you had been transferd
to york Pa I Was surprised to hear that
you wound had healed I am afraid it
has heald up to Soon Simon you say
you are lonesome Where you are I suppose
you are I Now how to appreciate you in your
scircumstances but I Will say this for your
own good to Be contented Where ever you are
and stay away from your Co as long
as you Can Git transfured in the
invelid corps if you can for it would

the Largest part of our Corps has been

and crossed the James river at Day light
and throwed out our pickets as soon as we
crossed the river the rebs was right in our
frunt the 110 and 77 Pa vol charged on the
rebs and took some prisoners and 4 picies
