Washington/DC/nov 11
we arrived here yesterday
afternoon and we Camped about
too miles from the city on the
bank of the potomac and like
it first rate the are about
a dozen pottsville men came
along with us and are going
home at 12 o’clock so I have
very little time to write they
are going to take our letters
along so I thought I would
scratch you a few lines
we are all well at present
there being no sickness in
the regment. we can can
see the enemy across the
river no more at present look has a letter the latter
part of the week
