that you was as low as I
learned in the last letter that

been writeing to me I thought
you mearly felt bad or had
a bad cold if ever one gets
sick again after this
I would like to hear more
about it but I hope we will
all keep our health till we can
all see each other again
I think this war is nearly played
out so that I can onst more
get home to my friends

Dear Mother I hope till [1] this
letter comes to your hand it
will find you well again

while we lay in Camp and I
think the hardesd pard of the
work is done if we succeed

last battle the Rebells are
getting greadly demoralised
and thay are all tired of war
as well as we are and agread
