Camp near Brandy Station Va
Dear Mother
I received your kind
and wellcom letter a
bout a week ago which
I had been looking for
for a long time. we
have had afewverry cold
days last week but to
day it is nise and
warm we had review
to day Colnel Upton and
a few artillery offecers
and there were also about
eight or ten ladys presant
wifes of officer in our Brigade
There hand much news of
any account here every
thing remains quiet
yacht for a while
I think

I was glad to hear
that you like the City
now I would like to
see the plais onst I think
it must have Chainged
Considerable sins I
left there you statet
in your letter that the
man that lives in our
house dident want
to move out, if you
want to move in
make him get out
we got paid for two
month yesderday and
I will sent ten
Dollars in this letter
and I will sent more
in a few days
I will now Close my
letter for I don’t know
much to write I am
well at presant and
hope these few lines
will find you the same

me and Ill pray for
