Camp near Brandy Station Va
Dear Mother
I received your kind and
wellcom letter a few days ago
and now I will try and answer
it. also there isent hardly any
thing going on here. everry
thing remains quiet so far and
will yacht for a while but
I think old Grant will put
us thrue this summer
the roads are in a verry bad
condition now this week we
had a snow about Six inches
deep and it is snowing now
again.
yesderday we got paid and I
will sent ten Dollars to
you in this letter and ten in
the next

presant and I hope you are
all the same & remember me
in your prayer Dear mother and
I will pray for you
excuse me for not
writeing more
