Dear Mother
to day I received your kind
and wellcom letter and
I was verry glad to hear
from you for it was a long
time sins I heard from
you last. I am still in
the army yacht but I
am exspecting orders to be
mustered out everry day our
papers are allready madeout
all that is required now
is the mustering officer
to muster us out there
are thirty eight in our
Regiment that will be
thischarged now all the
vetterens that reanlisted in
1863 will haf to stay and

all recruitse that enlisted
after the first day of October
1862. the veterans dont like
it atal that thay haf to
stay. I think we will be
mustered out so that we can
get home inside of next week
next monday they are agoing
to muster out the 121.NY. Regt.
out that belongs to our Brigade
and perhaps they will sent us
with them for there is no
officers in our Squat to
take us thrue our Regiment
is going to be kept up
and so all the officers has to
stay the grand review come
off a fiew days ago and
our Brigade got the praise
of beeing the best in the
Corps in appearance and
thisaplin

if you write again direct to
Co. G. 95 Regt P.V. for I dont
think I shall be here more
then a fiew days and if you
direct to my company thay
will sent the letter after
me if I hand here
Dear Mother I am sorry to
hear that you hand verry
well I hope your health
will be better wen you
receive this
I am enjoying verry good
health now better then
I ever did at home
these three years of hard servic
dident effect me the least
bit the people at home all
that I spoke to wen I enlisted
thought I wouldent stand
soldiering but they was mista
ken if every soldier would stood

doctors wouldent had much to
do
I must close for it is
getting dark so no more at
presant write soon
