Dear Friend Peater
Wich the greatest of pleashur
I Sit dow to inform a few
lines unto that I am
gettin along verry well
so far Hoping that these
few lines may meat
you in the Same condi
tion Furter i let you
know that I received
your kind and well
com letter last week
and i was verry glad
to here from you again
Furter i let you know
that we left hour
camp on the 5 of this Month
we was below the left
ware the[y] hat that battel

we was the rear gart and
throwed up prestworks
the thirt day it commens
Snowing and raining and
it kept one [2] day and night and
we hat nothing along
as hour plankets we
was wet nearly all over
the sixth day we went
in the camp again we
marshed nearly all
night till we came
to camp again No
more at presand
excuse mi mistake
an bad wriding
